What Does The Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
Question: I am having 6 year boy, I want to have another child. I am trying from last three month. I got my sperm count which was showing 2million/ml . it took 35 minutes to send to pathology and I was having high fever 102 Fahrenheit. After 5 days I have again shown to another pathology to cross check it is showing 47million/ml. I want to know whether fever and 35 minute affect the report. Is variation is possible

I have got ultrasound it showing multiple dilated and tortuous anechoic vascular channels are seen located postero and superolateral to left testis, extending along spermatic cord. the tubular channels measure appr 0.21cm to 0.27 cm in caliber and are seen compressed on graded compression by transducer on real time sonography. on valsalva manoeuvere there is significant augumentation measuring aprrx 0.31 cm to 0.34 cm in caliber.

This means there is possibility of varicocele. This generally needs to be operated surgically and removed.
I suggest you dont go for operation now. Repeat semen analysis after 1 month and then you can decide on it if the count is too low. If not dont bother about this ultrasound scan report.

Any other treatment or medicine which will help to improve condition . Is surgical is only answer if report of semen i not in favours
