What Does The Following TMT Report Indicate?
Question: I got my report of my yearly regular employment health checkup.
WE had done ECG and also TMT.
IN ECG graph the below interpretation is given: R/S inversion area between V1 and V2 , Borderline ECG.
In TMT report the report states: Cardio stress analysis is negative for IHD, BP Responses is Normal, Effort tolerance is Good.
Kindly reply with your answer if any problem in ECG because of the interpreation, R/S inversion area between v1 and v2, borderline ECG

R/S inversion area on the precordial V1 and V2 can be tricky for a lot of individuals. We often face this finding in non symptomatic and otherwise healthy individuals. The causes may vary from benign nonpathological variants to severe or life-threatening heart diseases. However in your case there was TMT test done which was more specific to ischemic heart disease. Since TMT was negative and BP response was normal I will not be worried about this finding.
Sometimes during ECG the leads can be placed higher, sometimes there is chest wall abnormality as well that leads to such pattern. However the doctor can be able to identify the peripheral 'r' waves. More so it was specifically mentioned that the exercise tolerance was good so you should just go ahead with your regular exercise.
