Question: Hi,

I am worried regarding my grand fathers MRI report. Can you help me if it's serious or require a surgery? He is nearly 80 years.

What are the symptoms for which Mri was advised.
His voice level has decreased gradually.

Any history of diabetes, hypertension, stroke, head injury?
Diabetes - No, Hypertension - no, he had bypass surgery some 20 years ago. As per my knowledge no head injury.

Possibility of degenerative brain disease like fronto temporal dementia, alzheimers or Parkinson's disease may be a possibility.
Get him examined by a neurologist and evaluated accordingly.
