Question: Hi...I always have heavy menstral period so I had to go see a doctor because am trying to get pregnant now. ..was told to go for an ultrascan and the result says: the uterus is normal sized and anteverted with a smooth, outline and a homogeneous myometrium...
Endometrial layer thickness is 7mm..A fundal endometrial polyp=9mm/6mm is noted.
Both ovaries are normal with numerous developing follicles in situation.
A dominant follicle is noted in the right ovsry measuring 11mm/8mm
No adnexal mass or collection is seen
IMPRESSION: ENDOMETRIAL POLYP

Please kindly explain the problems I have do I can go see a doctor because I have been trying to get pregnant in the last three months. ..Thanks. ..

Endometrial polyp seems to be the reason for increased bleeding as well as infertility.

Hence I suggest undergo hysteroscopic Polypectomy immediately which will solve both the problems.

I dont know any doctor in that area.

Please ask for a gynecologist who does laparoscopy surgeries. He will be able to perform hysteroscopic surgeries too.
