Brief Answer:
USG guided biopsy with immunohistochemistry

Detailed Answer:
Hi

As you are having cancerous cells all over your liver it is very important to know whether those cells originated in the liver or has spread from other parts of the body.

I will advise u to do an Ultrasonography (USG) guided biopsy with immunohistochemistry test from the cancerous cells on your liver to find the primary source of the cancerous cells and then only treatment can be decided.

Discuss with your treating physician regarding the above test.

Brief Answer:
To determine primary source of cancer cells

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Imaging tests, such as USG and CT scan are helpful in detecting masses or areas of abnormality but they alone can't differentiate cancerous cells from noncancerous cells.

For the majority of cancers the only way to make a definitive diagnosis is to perform a biopsy to collect cells for closer examination.

You need to do a USG guided biopsy which a radiologist will do with the help of a ultrasonography machine in which he will perform a procedure with a small needle to remove a piece of tissue or a sample of cells from your liver so that it can be analyzed in a laboratory and immunohistochemistry test from the biopsy sample which your pathologist will do can be done to determine the primary source of the cancerous cells in your liver.

If you have no more clarifications then please rate the answer and close the thread.
