Brief Answer:
Not worrisome.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
I have seen the attached ultrasound report. There is a simple small ovarian cyst on the right side. It usually happens due to a mild hormonal disturbance and delayed periods. Such cysts usually dissolve on their own after one or two regular cycle. Right now you need not worry and wait for the periods. In case the cyst persists after the periods or increases in size then it is worrisome and needs further investigations.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Thank you for the prompt response. I'm worried since we have a history of CA. My mother passed away due to cervical CA.

Do you agree with the current steps advised by my OB?
- medroxyprogesterone acetate, 2 times a day for 5 days.
- then if my period comes, will have to undergo TVS ultrasound on the 3rd or 4th or 5th day

Will update you on the outcomes. Thank you so much!

Brief Answer:
Treatment given is correct.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
This ovarian cyst is not related cervical CA. No need to worry. The treatment you have been given is correct. Do wait for the periods to start and get a repeat scan done after the periods finish.
Hope my answer is helpful.
