Brief Answer:
Atrial Bigeminy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
The attached ECG shows Atrial bigeminy.
It is actually a pattern of heart beat that occurs in couplets. In it a regular beat is following by a premature beat which arises from any part of heart other than normal pacemaker site.
Their is generally no symptom except the patients feel extra or irregular pulse.
It can normally present without any disease or can be because of variety of causes like electrolyte imbalance, stress, alcoholism, COPD(lung disease) or RHD(heart disease) or can be because of taking some drugs.
Prognosis, treatment & hospitalisation will depend on the cause for the condition.
Thanks
