Question: Hi Doctor,

I see a white line inside my mouth and there is no pain or anything. I noticed it yesterday and I had a dentists visit last week. Its on both side of my cheeks where the teeth meet.

Would you please take a look at it ? I am attaching two pictures of my moth.

Mucositis.

Hi,

I have seen the attached picture. You are having mucositis. Apply clotrimazole mouth paint 4 to 5 times a day for a week. Take tablet vitamin c once daily and use hexidine gargles.
Get blood sugar levels checked.
Drink plenty of water.
Avoid any spicy food and aerated drinks.
Any further questions are always welcome.

I am taking Vitamin C regularly.
Is it something worrisome - Mucositis?
My blood sugar when I checked last year was below 80 empty stomach.
is it anything bad?
when i search for it it is part or side effect of Chemo therapy on cancer patients. Is it something to worry ? I am not gone through any of that god forbid.

Brief Answer:
Can be injury due to rough teeth.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The ulcer like lesion looks like repeated friction by the teeth. Maybe seeing a dentist will help.

I had an appointment with the Dentist. And you are 100% right, as per dentist there is no issues and the white line on the cheeks are cheek bites and also the tongue could be a bite and she took pictures and validated. No medicine or treatments needed.
