Brief Answer:
Did you have any infection around this area?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I have reviewed your information. This lump is probably a lymph node. The size shouldn't cause any panic. Lymph nodes that cause trouble are bigger in size and in most cases cannot be moved. However, I will recommend you put an eye on it. avoid touching repeatedly as this can cause inflammation and pain.

On another note, did you have recent infection like a cold? This is because such infections often cause increase in the size of lymph nodes, which is totally normal and expected.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.

No recent colds or infection. I did have a root canal on the same side on my bootom molar a month ago. The lump feels like a grape that moves and painless.
