The Leukocyte Esterase from the urine test showed small (1+) (Negative) A. I had to take another urine test yesterday and he told me not to worry 99% it will be normal will be normal. I am a worried what they will be looking for.

Brief Answer:
urinary infection, needs 2nd urine test to confirm
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for using HCM.
I went through your query and understood your concerns.
Leucocyte esterase in urine is a indicator of presence of WBC in urine, means infection in urinary tract. But some times falsely positive report do seen( with out infection but test shows positive report) if urine was not collected properly, urine mixed with white discharge from vagina. So as in your case it is 1+, could be false positive report, but need to rule out Urinary tract infection by doing second examination of urine study, for presence of white blood cells under microscopy.
As you have given urine for study, wait for report. management varies accordingly. not to worry, Antibiotics are available to treat infection completely. But in your case possibility of false positive report is high.
Hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask further related query. I will be glade to answer them.
Wish you a good health.
Regards
