Question: What does FNAC this report indicate ?
Site of FNAC-Cervical Lyphnode
Gross-Lymphnode, firm to soft in consistency, XXXXXXX
Aspiration was done from 10 ml syringe with 22G needle & two slides were made.
Nature of aspiration-Greyish-white
Microscopy shows polymorphous population of lymphoid cells in varying stages of maturation, consisting of centrocytes, centroblasts, immunoblasts & tangible body histiocytes in haemorrhagic background.
However no evidence of Koch's seen in the smears studied.

Impression-Cytological features suggestive with infective etiology.

Are you having any fever or persistent cough or only the lymph node swelling is present?KOCH's evidence not seen not present suggests no Tuberculosis infection But infective etiology suggests of some present infection. Always the Investigations needs to be clinically co ordinated Kindly let me know what symptoms are you suffering from?
