What Do White Specks At The Back Of Throat Suggest?

Question: Hello DR

I have a white Spock on back of my throat.. I had one spot for 3 month now there are more that 4 white dots.. I attached a picture... I have occasional throat pain

Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,

I have seen the pic you posted.

The white specks are nothing but condensed discharge from the tonsil, It is seen in people with recurrent or longstanding infection of the tonsil.

You will do well with a course of antibiotics, see your ENT doctor.

Till then do warm salt water gargling 4 times daily and drink plenty of warm fluids.
