Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Tingling in the hands and feet usually is in the setting of peripheral polyneuropathy (polyneuropathy is a term which means damage to several peripheral nerves).

Peripheral polyneuropathy can have many different causes. Most common ones are diabetes, alcohol abuse, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid disorders, electrolyte imbalance, kidney and liver disease, rheumatological conditions etc. The list can go on and on (and in 25% of patients no cause can be found), so evaluation is done step by step searching first the most common causes and only if initial tests yield no results and symptoms persist more rare causes are sought.

So I suggest you discuss it with your physician who should examine you for neurological signs like low or missing reflexes, changes in sensitivity and motor strength. In terms of tests nerve conduction studies and some routine blood tests are the initial step (blood tests such as blood glucose and HbA1C, electrolytes, thyroid hormone levels, vitamin B12, liver and kidney function, complete blood count.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
