Brief Answer:
Please discuss surgical treatment options with head and neck oncologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your cat scan in detail and it says there is no confirmed visible abnormal area except for two small lymph nodes which are not big enough to indicate disease.

Your biopsy report however mentions a possibility of evolving earliest form of cancer which is probably restricted to the surface and mentioned with the term carcinoma in situ.

Considering that the biopsy result and cat scan report I suggest that you get it removed after discussing your condition with a head and neck oncologist and know about the treatment options being offered at your end. A surgery is usually a good treatment option and complete recovery can take 6 weeks or even less in some people.

The nodes and thyroid lesions mentioned in the cat scan require an ultrasound scan confirmation and follow up as required.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.

I'm in Canada but my home is in Egypt I saw 3 doctors in Canada 2 of them Told me that I have to remove my jaw and I never be normal again when I talk or eat and I'll look ugly and if I don't do the operation I might die within a year they told me that although 1 I had a check up as Nd physically I'm perfect in everything I had no tumour remarks and they had no biopsy test or cat scan as so they destroy me and my family for nothing
the third doctor who had the biopsy and CAT scan told me that he will remove a tooth and cut these tissues and I won't be able to eat for a month and I have to eat with a tube in my nose
I spent a lot of money in Canada and i delay my going home
the question I have to do this operation in Canada with this aggressive way it there is another way by leasar or by any easier way
when the doctor take a biopsy he took more than 6 mm so he supposed to sew the scar or leave it like he did

Brief Answer:
A surgery will be the best treatment for you

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

Since the possible cancer is in earliest stages, therefore the surgery will be limited to the tissues of the tongue and I accept the views of the third doctor. The surgery, if done now, will be a smaller one and you will make a quick recovery.

I have worked in a cancer institute for years and have seen many patients with the problems like the one you are having. With early surgical treatment every patient makes a complete recovery.

Every doctor doing cancer surgery will have their own experience and methods and it is best left to the treating doctor the way he wants to do it, after examining in detail. There is something called wide excision surgery and in this method a part of healthy tongue tissue is also removed.

In the interest of your health, a surgery is the best available treatment for you which will give complete cure.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
It is earliest form of cancer detectable and cure happens almost always

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

I understand your problems but the condition you have is earliest stage of cancer and it is almost always curable. There is enough evidence to support that surgery at this stage will remove the condition from the root and it will not return back.
