Question: Hi, for 2 months now I've been having a dull chest pain, located slightly to the right, it comes and goes in intensity but it's always there

it is not influenced by movement or breathing, it is also accompanied by a sensation of lump in the throat, those two symptoms are permanent, they just vary in intensity

I'ts been accompanied by countless symptoms since then, including radiating chest pain, to the back, "nerve" burning sensation in arms, headaches, CONSTANT tinnitus, feeling of ears "full" and general fatigue and LOTs of palpitations (heart skipping a beat), light headedness

I also lost around 15 pounds without really trying

These tests have been done:

Chest and lung X rays : normal
blood tests to rule out cardiac problemes/blood cloth : normal
Upper Gastroscopy with biopsies : normal
Echo of heart and liver: normal although I have been having a FATTY LIVER for many years now, ALT level is around 150 and AST 60 I think, anyway they've always been elevated, but I dont have lesions, just fat deposit because I have a bit of a belly
EKG and Effort EKG: normal

MRI of the chest that only looks at soft tissues: normal

I did NOT want to do a CT Scan because of radiations

I should also point out that I have been suffering from either (not sure) GERD and/or Oesophegal spasms since I was a teenager

I also have a small lump un der right armpit that my doc thinks it's only fat deposit or a kyst, I am waiting for echo of it.. it's not painful just there, been there for about a year, I attirbuted it to my deodorant..

I'm clueless cause most tests turned out okay, and I KNOw that its more than anxiety, the pain is very localised and coinstant

Brief Answer:
Might be GERD, capsule omez 20 mg for 15 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
I have gone through your query.
As you have done investigation, and which are normal and do not suggest any abnormalities in the heart and even in the food passage, I think you might be having gastroesophageal reflux disease. Which is responsible for your symptom.
I would suggest you to avoid spicy and oily food for at least 15 days. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Eat bland and high fibres diet.
I would suggest you to do regular exercise, eat small frequent meals rather than heavy meal. Walk for 10 to 15 min post meal. Do not lie down immediately after meal.

I would have prescribed you capsule omez 20 mg daily before breakfast, empty stomach for 15 days and then would have asked you to visit after 15 days for evaluation.
Hope this helps.
Take care
