Brief Answer:
Laryngopharyngeal reflux secondary to acid reflux disease...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

I have gone through the query and understood your problem.

The symptoms described by you seems to be related to a condition called Laryngopharyngeal reflux secondary to acid reflux disease.

In this condition, the acid regurgitates from the stomach into the throat causing inflammation in the food pipe and the throat. The inflammation leads to swelling of the mucosa of the throat. The mucosa thus swollen causes throat discomfort and sense of foreign body in the throat.

The lab report shows slightly elevated triglycerides. This can be reduced with dietary and life style modifications.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Consult a good ENT and a Gastroenterologist for a complete evaluation and management.
2. Drink plenty of warm water.
3. Try taking proton pump inhibitors such as Pantoperazole or Esomeprazole along with a prokinetic such as metachlopromide.
4. Avoid stress, smoking, taking spicy food, oily food and alcohol, if any.

Hope this answers your query; revert back to me if you have any follow up queries.
