default
Posted on Fri, 3 Jul 2015
Question: Hello, I am trying to get some insight to lab results I had done in April. I don't have a follow up until the end of July. I continue to have the same symptoms. Dizziness, headaches, foggy headed, poor concentration, blurry vision, pins and needles in forearms, legs, feet and left cheek occasionally. Vibrating shaking sensation in body, sweating, insomnia, throat feels swollen.

Here are my labs from April 2015. Thank you!

Thank you for answering, but I think you are unaware that you spelled autoimmune completely wrong. I have been told that I have Sjogrens. I would like another doctor to look at my look at my results.

Brief Answer:
Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,

Thanks for reverting back.

Sorry for the spelling error . Now that you give the history of being diagnosed as Sjogrens syndrome , the test relevant for the same are RF - negative , ANA - negative , SSA - positive , SSB - negative . Only SSA positivity is not enough to say Sjogrens , it has further two components - Ro-52 , Ro 60 which are not tested separately . Hyperglobulinemia is also not there as globulin levels are normal.

Also tell what is Schirmers test which they must have done if they are suspecting Sjogrens . Please send me the reports for the same , also it will be helpful if you send the entire history .

Take care.

Dr. Shruti
