Brief Answer:
Possible pharyngotonsillitis

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your symptoms, the possibility of acute pharyngotonsillitis ( Infection of the back of the throat) is very high. Many of the symptoms that she is experiencing are currently attributed to it.

She requires oral antibiotics at the earliest to minimize the spread of infection. Attending the ER is also a good option.

I generally prescribe oral medications of Amoxicillin Clavulanate and Acetaminophen to my patients with such symptoms. Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if he can prescribe these medications to improve her symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query.

Thank you.
