Brief Answer:
take rest for few days, wraps and anti-inflammatory medication for week.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.

While playing tennis a lot of stress is put on the wrist. Wrist pain is quite common who plays tennis regularly. Loads placed upon the wrist can result in the development of tendonitis, which is one of the common cause. Apart from these stress fractures, ligament sprains, and tears in the cartilage at the end of the forearm bone (ulna) can also occur and may be responsible for the pain.

The muscles that control forearm, wrist and hand movement actually they have their origin near the elbow joint. Hence, strengthening the wrist involves the use of exercises typically increase elbow strength.

Treatment is tailored to the specific diagnosis. Imaging needs to be performed to know the pathology.

I would have suggested you to take rest for few days, use of ice, wraps and anti-inflammatory medications for week and then look for any difference while you play.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,

Brief Answer:
Topical NSAID SPRAY and alteration in technique may help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have seen the reports.
I do not play tennis but I play badminton and had sort of same problem, I used do get elbow pain.
I tried using NSAID'S spay, like volini, half an hour before playing. It did seemed to work for while.
I would suggest you to try this and see if there is any improvement.
A coach advised me to change my grip ( that is the way I hold the racket) and also to change little bit of my smashing technique. By this i was able to play with very little discomfort. As tennis is also racket sport, if some option like this is available, I suggest you to consider.

A wrist splint may be needed.

I hope you have got some thing useful and helpful from this.
I wish you good health.
