Brief Answer:
pharyngitis-continue erythromycin.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having throat pain.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be acute pharyngitis.

Your vomiting sensation could be due to erythromycin's adverse effect or acute gastritis.

I suggest the following measures, to overcome your throat irritation.

1. start ppi inhibitor with prokinetics (pan-d) pantoprazole +domperidone twice daily before food (hal an hor before).

2. continue same erythormycin 500mg twice daily (best works for pharyngitis).

3. tab.paracetamol 650mg (dolo 650mg) as a pain killer, twice daily.

4. Anti allergic medication tab.levocet-d (levocetrizine +phenylephrine) one tab at bed time.

In case of persistence, needs to be evaluated with ent surgeon to rule out other causes.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
