What Causes Weakness, Headache And Pain In The Eyes?

Question: My husband has been having episodes where he gets real sick to his stomach, has no energy to the point he can't get out of bed, severe headache with lots of pain in the eyes. I brought him to te emergency room and they said it was a stomach bug. This is about the fourth time in a year it has happened. I have found him twice on the floor in a fetal position. Any ideas?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Stomach bug is likely gastritis his doctors meant and use of NSAIDs and pain killers can do that. Use of ibuprofen is not wise and should be replaced with tylenol as ibuprofen will irritate stomach mucosa and worsen the symptoms. Diet lifestyle adjustments, avoiding triggers like soda, alcohol, beverages, tea, coffee, stimulants of all kind to help. Supportive care for stomach discomfort with diet lifestyle modifications will help.
