What Causes Vomiting Of Blood?
Question: Husband vomited blood last night said felt like it was choking him. Now sore area in throat down by collar bone with bloody taste if he coughs. No prior symptoms occasional some stomach after taking meds for pain after car accident few years ago. Other than that healthy.

He requires an Upper GI Endoscopy to see what is the reason for the bleeding.
It could be ulcers in stomach or duodenum or Stress ulceration.
He should start having Tab Pantoprazole 40mg or Cap Omepazole 20mg twice a day.
Please see a Physician or a Gastroenterologist preferably.
It is quite urgent.
