Brief Answer:
Let us wait , say for one month at least, preferably for 3 months.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Good morning here.
Thanks for your query.
Very good to know that everything is fine except for the intolerance to spicy foods.

Spicy food is causing upper abdominal pain and immediate need to go to bathroom. This indicates that there is a severe intolerance to this. It is very good that you have stopped spices.

As we discussed in the last questions, let you have a symptom free life to start with. I understand that spices are very important in foods to have the proper taste and satiety.

I have seen in many patients that after a gap of 1 to 3 months there can be increase in tolerance and one can start a few things out of all the food-stuff one had to stop.

I would like to ask for the few details:
Can you please tell me which foods / spices exactly caused this problem ?
Was it outside food or made at home?
Are the spices used from the ready-made commercially available packets ?
Or they are prepared from raw material bought from market and then mixed and prepared by a family member at home ?

It is observed that a properly prepared spices from the best available material may not cause the problem. These questions may help us to go to the root-cause. We have some patients that have tolerance only to the spicy foods eaten at hotels or marriage parties but tolerate to some extent if prepared and added at home.

Let us think about this in details.
Let you wait for one month please, as all other symptoms are getting under control; let the body get recovered well. It may not be permanent to stop spicy food. Let us try systematically.

I hope you are getting my point.
Please feel very free and XXXXXXX to discuss further.
I shall be happy to assist you more.
