Brief Answer:
Pregnancy should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Irregular and erratic periods can be due to pregnancy or hormonal disturbance.
If there is any chance of pregnancy, then do a urine pregnancy test to confirm the diagnosis.
If negative, then an ultrasound should be done to confirm the endometrial thickness , which can be increased due to hormonal disturbance.
In that case, regestrone may be needed to stop the bleeding.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
