I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

What you are describing seems like a viral respiratory tract infection that has affected the middle ear as well and that a bacterial infection (pneumonia) might have overlapped.

zpack its the right antibiotic to treat it. You will feel better after 24-48 hours.

Also take Ibuprofen 400 mg or Paracetamol 500-700 mg for any sore or pain, unless you have it contraindicated for some reason. It will help you for the fever as well in case you have fever.

Cough syrups not always work but try and hopefully it will help you. Sputum and cough are normal mechanisms for the lungs to clear up, so don't worry about it. It will need a bit more time to get better also comparing the other symptoms.

Drink plenty of water and other fluids, eat a lot of fruits with vitmine C, rest and stay warm.
