What Causes Tingling Sensation In Toes While Suffering From Type 2 Diabetes?

Question: I am a type 2 diabetic ,10 months ago I started having tingling sensation of the toes,no pain or burning sensation,4 weeks ago I started takin glucophage 500mg with meals,a week later I developed a metallic taste in my mouth that does not go away although I stopped Glucophage 3 weeks ago,is this condition permenant or there is a treatment,thank you

Metformin ( Glucophage) rarely give the metallic taste in mouth. However, in your case, the metallic taste is likely to be GERD related rather than Glucophage.
Glucophage is a wonderful drug and should be used in all patients with Type 2 DM.

The metallic taste may go away once you have treated GERD well.
