What Causes Swollen Leg, Anxiety, Chest Pain, Restlessness, Excessive Sweating And Abdominal Swelling?
Question: Hi..I am 40 years Old patient of Edema since 2months. I feel swelling of my leg during period.At that time i feel anxiety,chest pain,restlessness, excessive sweating and enlargement of abdomen.I also see dumpling of skin after pressing the area for a few second.
I have been diagnosised by a Gynecologist . He preferred me a tab tab Martino 5mg 2 times daily for 20 days.
Please suggest me about my problem.

The swelling of feet that you have and is caused by accumulation of an excessive amount of watery fluid in cells or intercellular tissues. It can be due to cellulitis, congestive heart failure, kidney disease, arthritis, high altitude (less likely from your location), high salt intake and any blood clot in the veins causing DVT. Are you taking some medicines like laxatives? Abusing these can also cause bilateral pedal edema.
I suggest you an immediate physician consultation. You need to get blood tests, kidney function tests, electrolyte levels, ECG and stress ECHO, venous Doppler of the legs and urine tests done.
