Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic
I am Dr. Dadapeer, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.
I reviewed your history.
The swelling of the eyelid in winter is commonly because of allergy and it is called as allergic blepharitis.
This is usually common in winter season. This is because of exposure to dust or specific type of pollens seen in winter season.
The precautions needs to be taken are
1. Avoid exposure to dust, smoke....
2. Wash the eyes with normal water 1-2 times a day.
3.Try to identify the specific allergen like home dust, animal dust.....
The treatment is mainly required during periods of acute exacerbation. You can start using eye drops like olopatadine eye drops one drop two times a day.
Hope this answers your question.
