default
Posted on Mon, 3 Aug 2015
Question: I keep having recurring, sudden onset incidents of repetitive vomiting and fever, barely able to keep my eyes open in between vomiting sessions. These occur every 4-6 weeks and last 24-48 hours. What could it be?

Brief Answer:
Possible meningitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I have read your query.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible meningitis and associated dyelectrolytemia leading to weakness.
I would suggest meeting a neurologist urgently and get a lumbar puncture done.

There are other causes of course, but this is the most drastic possibility.
Therefore we need to rule it out first.

Feek free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal
