Brief Answer:
Causes to strange feeling in groin...

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

The strange feeling in groin area might be related to possible genital problems:
- recent local trauma/injury
- muscle sore due to physical activity
- other problems with your genitalia (infection, etc.)

Triggering fast heart rate is a normal response of your body to such feeling.

I suggest to run further tests to determine what your real problems with your genitalia is:
- consult with urologist
- genital and abdominal ultrasound
- urine analysis
- PSA
- ECG

Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed. Until then, I advise not to have sexual activity and to avoid physical stress.

Hope it helped! Let me know if you have further questions!

Thanks, Dr. I seem to mostly have these strange sensations (buzzing, spasms in groin area) when I lie on my back and getting ready to go to sleep. Feels like a strange adreneline rush. Heart rate quickly goes up to about 120 bpm then drops back down to 80 bpm and sometimes reapeats 2 or 3 more times before stopping. Really gets me anxious and worried. Hard to go to sleep. Could it be a prostrate issue? What do you think about these symptoms?
