Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy - stool test - CT scan

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and history about your brother of '69'.
He has got 7-8 sticky motions daily for the last ''4 weeks'' - No pain - no fever - tried medicines - looks that medicines are not helping.

A small history of 7-8 sticky motions in a man of 69 years, not cured by medicines for 4 weeks is the indication for investigations and getting to the root cause.

I would advise in such a case the following:
Colonoscopy is a must ASAP.
Investigations of the blood and urine.
Stool test done on three days.
CT scan of the abdomen (USG does not give much of the information about intestines).

This will give the perfect diagnosis and a plan for further treatment.

I hope this answer helps your brother to get a proper diagnosis, and get a proper further treatment. Please feel free to ask for more if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
