Question: I believe this symptom began when I used LIsterine mouth whitener with high alcohol content. Now, when I eat or drink my lips feel sticky and while they feel swollen, but aren't.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I don't think of any serious health issue for your complaint.
Lips are highly moist all the time. When they are dry or dehydrated, they become sticky and give false believe of swollen.
High alcohol intake reduces oral intake of food and water. After drinking too much of alcohol, person is not eating or drinking enough for almost 14-16 hours. This can cause dehydration and sticky lips.
Other possible causes are age related changes in salivary gland, heat exposure in summer etc.
So in your case high alcohol intake and age related changes in salivary glands are possible causes for your symptom.
