Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Is is possible for a sore tongue to be related to anxiety and stress but first other possible causes should be excluded.
Most common causes for tongue problems are :
-A fungal infection (You may try an antifungal gel like Miconazole twice a day for some days to see if it helps)
-Diabetes (you may need to test your blood sugar)
-Vitmamin B12 and folate deficiency
-Anemia due to iron deficiency
-Overusing of mouthwashes can cause such problem.

If this problems is persistent ,I would suggest to discuss it with your doctor.
If these tests are normal and pathological causes are excluded ,then most likely it might be related to anxiety.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you need further help.
I would be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati

Hello.

If you had such symptoms before and the tests were normal then most likely the symptoms are related to stress and anxiety .
Such symptoms are very common in anxiety disorders.
In this cause you may not need to repeat the tests.Managing stress can help with the symptoms.

Take care.
