What Causes Sore Throat, Headache And Diarrhea Post Intake Of Truvada?
Question: I am a female, I had sex 3 weeks and half with a men and the condom broke twice. The following morning, I went to the clinic and they prescribe me truvada and isentress. Now I have symptoms such as sore throat, headache and diarrhea. I would like to know if these are hiv symptoms. Also what are my chances of success with pep( I started exactly 16 hours after the event)?
I feel so bad and I'm thinking about doing the p24 antigen test. Is that a good idea?

I am mostly upset because most doctors say pep is not 100% effective as they have recorded some cases of pep failure.Why would you think that pep is 100% effective?
