Question: I had a sore elbow for a few weeks, and in the last few days my chest from left armpit to the nipple has had a light burning sensation. I have also had tenderness in the center of the chest almost like a sore muscle. What could cause this.

Brief Answer:
Heart disease/injury to elbow/Arthritis elbow

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I understand your concern. You might have had a trauma to your elbow because which you have soreness. If you did not have any trauma, you might be having gouty or rheumatoid arthritis. This might cause nerve irritation causing burning sensations.

But before all this, you need to rule out any heart disease by going through an electrocardiogram. Left arm pain can be referred pain from a heart disease.I would suggest you to do an electrocardiogram and Chest X ray for any chest abnormality.

Hope i answered your query.Feel free to ask more.
