The dead skin has just showed up recently but the spots on the penis have been increasing slowly since last 4 months. The dead skin if exofilated (plucked) bleeds and itches while applying oientment, They are painless otherwise and that is the reason i did not notice it till now. No oil or powder. Yes, sexually active. Not in last 3 weeks.

HI again

First of all, I must confess that the pictures that you have sent are not very clear. It would be better if wok can click some pictures with a better camera resolution so that reaching a definite diagnosis would be easier.
You surely have an infective focus over your groin region.
You need to do proper cleaning of the affected area. Clean it with lukewarm saline water twice a day followed by application of a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the affected areas twice a day .
Wear cotton undergarments so as to decrease sweating .
I would like to know if you ever noticed the development of any fluid filled blisters or painful ulcers prior to development of this problem.
Also please tell which ointments are you currently applying?

This are some more pictutes, please ignore the sopts on lens. I've used betnovate-cm and triben-b. and yes i've suffered from ulcers but not under the groin area, it was on the buttocks. I've also gone under antibiotic and homeiopathic treatment for the same but they seem to reoccur during seasonal changes. The groin is seeming to fade a bit after usage of betnovate. But the spots on the head of my penis are showing no changes.

Get a complete examination done

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

I have had a closer look at the skin lesions .
I would say that it does not look pretty good. I suspect that the groin lesions are actually healing lesions of herpes infection. Herpes presents with grouped lesions and that is what is apparent in your case. You should surely avoid applying betnovate over it. Instead you should clean the area as I told earlier and apply an antibiotic cream like mupirocin twice a day.
Now as far as the lesions over glans penis is concerned, I don't think that they are anything to be worried about. But you surely need to be assessed and examined an a std specialist to rule out other possibilities . In case you do have history of an unprotected exposure with someone, then you should go and get certain investigations also done. It should not really worry you, but it is best to rule out certain possibilities .
