Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern. Visual snow is caused by the hyperexcitability of nerve cells in the brain. It is not yet clear what causes it, however it has been linked to migraine aura and use of hallucinogenic substances and other recreative drugs. Your use of weed may have triggered an over excitement of your brain cells in a similar way that a seizure does, disrupting their normal functioning.

This condition is usually continuous and temporary, but it may last for years. Medications that have been proven effective are Lamotrigine, Acetazolamide and Verapamil, so you might want to consult your doctor about giving them a try.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.
Wishing you all the best.
