default
Posted on Tue, 15 Dec 2015
Question: Male 47 years, discovered today several minute lesions on my penis on the shaft close to the head. They are at the size of pinhead (or even smaller). Not inflamed not painful, nothing but they have not been there before

Is this an STD? Syphilis?

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query.

It is difficult to give an opinion without physical examination. It would be very helpful if you could send a picture of these lesions.
Can you provide some additional information : Are you sexual active ?
-Have you engaged recently in unprotected sexual intercourse ? When was your last sexual encounter ?

This information would be really helpful in order to give you a proper opinion.

Waiting for your answer.

Kind regards,

Hello again
I attached couple of pictures as per your advice. I had multiple superficial encounters without insertion. No vaginal or oral sex.

Brief Answer:
nothing to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

I reviewed the pictures you provided and I can tell you that I don't see any pathological lesion. The spots you refer are benign ,harmless spots called Fordyce spots.

In my opinion you have nothing to worry about. These spots are not indicative to any STD.

Hope it helps.
Kind regards,

Dr.Rovena
