Brief Answer:
rocky mountain spotted fever

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
From your description and photos of the rash I am concerned that you have encountered a tick and have gotten Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. It can cause a similar rash and joint pains and you do not always have a fever. I suggest that you see your doctor today or go to an urgent care for an evaluation and prescription for antibiotics. Rocky Mountain Spotted fever is usually treated with Doxycycline though there are other alternatives if you are allergic to that medication. Rocky Mountain Spotted fever is common in North XXXXXXX Lyme disease is also possible but much less common than Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
Please see a doctor right away.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
