To recapitulate: Male/74 - taken Mag Citrate thinking that you may need to go to bathroom - pain in lower back - bloating - pain - also take heart medication - photos seen ....
Wanted to know whether the problem started after taking Magnesium Citrate or you took it to relieve the problems.Also wanted to know whether you have passed bowel movement or not?
Since you are taking medications for heart, you have to be careful with any such problems as bloating, pain in abdomen and back.
I would advise you the following:
- Please go to the Doctor or ER for the following.
- Clinical evaluation and examination.
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position.
Tests of the blood, stool and urine.
All these things to get the probable diagnosis and treatment as per the findings.
EKG and cardiac check-up as you are already under the treatment.
