Brief Answer:
PPI and a snack

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.

If an individual has not consumed food or fluid for an extended period of time, hunger pangs or hunger pain can ensue. Muscle contractions occur when the stomach has been empty for many hours, the sensation may be unpleasant and reported as painful or distressing.

A low blood sugar , irritant lining of the digestive tract contribute to the intensity of the contractions of the stomach and intestines.

Take a snack along with a PPI like esomeprazole and most likely the pain would subside.

Please consult your local doctor before using any medication or if your pain worsens and persists despite the above.

Let me know if you have any query.

Thanks

Dr. M.S. Khalil.
