What Causes Severe Dizziness While Having Tinnitus?
Question: Hi!
I have a recurring problem. Its not dizzyness but when i lay still, stand or sit still, the floor is moving like a tiny earthquake or as if i am on the sea. I feel my entire spine is rocking me a little
Sometimes i have to check if someone knudged me or pushed the Chair i am in.
My first memory of it was after å elevator ride.
I find that it is very like mdds mal de debarqemend or what its called. However i can provoce this weightless feeling by putting my pinky finger on my ear and create å vacuum u know? That måkes me feel weightless. Only left ear
I also have tinnitus and feel full in the head like clogged
Also my sinuses are always clogged.
Any tips?

Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic and thanks for putting up the query
You are suffering from tinnitus along with vertigo. the cause is probably an inner ear disease. You should get yourself examined by an Ent specialist. A pure tone audiometry and a vertigo examination must be done. if both are fine than a MRI must be done to rule out any neurological cause for this.
Please tell me what medicines have you been taking so far?
Any difficulty in hearing?
Any history of seizures?
Follow up with the required information so that I can suggest you better.
Take care
Thanks and regards

Hi
Thanks for the information.
Please tell me do you have any hearing difficulty?
You should get a x-ray paranasal sinuses done. This will help to diagnose the sinus disease. The symptoms of tinnitus can be due to sinusitis or sensory neural loss.
You should take a tablet cinnarizine 75 once daily and a nasal spray twice daily for a week.
Consult a neurologist to rule out any neurological cause for imbalance and spine jerks.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available only on prescription.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thanks and regards
