Entire front lower abdomen. No nausea. No change in bowel habits. No fever or other symptoms. I took gas x. I was not given a dx. I will se my PCP tomorrow. Pain is severe, but I don't believe it is life threatening. Trying to stay away from ER. No hx of any gastric problems other than GERD.I am lactose intolerant, but only milk product I have was half & half in my coffee yesterday.

Brief Answer:
May be Urinary tract infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for the information.

Such a pain in lower abdomen can be caused by conditions like UTI or ureteric colic.
Gas problem causes pain that is more towards upper part of abdomen. GERD is unlikely the cause here.
I think UTI is a more likely diagnosis for you.

Anyhow for correct diagnosis we need do an abdominal examination and some investigations like urine routine examination.
Your PCP will guide you.
Meanwhile you can use OTC analgesics for pain relief. If plain analgesics doesn't help, use antispasmodic combinations like mefanemic acid or dicyclomine three times daily till you reach your PCP.. Also, drink plenty of oral fluids.
If pain progress despite these measures, kindly reach er to avoid avoidable complications
Wishing for a faster cure.
Thank you
