Is Clopivas And Tab Olmezest Causing Gas Trouble?
my ingiography was done on 2nd feb 2011 the report was non critical CAD. My age is 52 years doctor advise me to take clopivas 75 daily and tab olmezest 10 mg daily since then i am taking this medicine but nowadays i facing gas problem to much for gas problem doctor is giving rabizole DSR and unienzyme besides that i am not geting relief please advise me how can i get relief from this problem. nk,ma

Clopivas 75 mg tablet contains clopidogrel which belongs to the group of medications known as antiplatelets is used to prevent the formation of harmful blood clots in your blood vessels. This helps to lower the chances of you getting a heart attack or stroke. It is a widely used medication for heart protection. Patients taking clopidogrel like Clopivas would be associated with a higher incidence of GI symptoms like abdominal pain, diarrhoea or constipation, stomach upset, bloating, gas, flatulence etc.
Olmezest 10 mg contains olmesartan which is used to high blood pressure and heart failure. Lowering blood pressure helps to prevent future heart attack and stroke. This medication is also effective in preserving kidney function in patients with diabetes. Many people may experience stomach problems like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, gas or flatulence etc during use of Olmezest.
If these side effects persist for long time or bother you, then you should consult your doctor for medical attention.
