Question: HELLO. I am 66 yrs. old Took flu shot a little over 6 wks ago. f a few serveral hrs. started getting runny nose and coughing. I have seen my pulmonoligist , ENT, and gastrologist. Have lost about 10 lbs. if I talk eat or drink aggravates cough, lack of sleep, some chills very little fever awhile back, achy, Do not know where to turn chest x-rays, sinus x-rays. MISERABLE. I will be contacting my pulmonologist again.Have been on levaqin, doxy, symbicort, Spiriva, cough meds, nasal spray to no aveil.. CAN YOU GIVE ME ANY IDEA I CAN PRESENT DOC ON NEXT VISIT////////////

Running nose, coughing etc are suggestive of allergic disease.
So better to get done allergy testing and if it is positive then you should avoid that substances.
Oral combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs are also useful in your case.
Intranasal spray containing steroid is also very effective in your case.
