What Causes Rash On The Penis Head After Having Rough Vigorous Sex?
Question: Hello Doctor. I have had an ongoing problem for approximately 4 weeks. Directly under the the head of my penis (top of the shaft) on the side facing away from my body is a persistent rash. It began while I was very active with my girlfriend. Having sex quite often during the day for 2 weeks. Although it was slight
painful I continued to have more sex.
It has been swollen, red, dried up, cracked. I thought it healed enough to masturbate and then it came back. Not as severe, but back. I wasn't certain if a specific soap, hydrocortisone cream etc. would help or hurt?
Thanks so much in advance. I'm certain it needs to be NOT touched for at least a week. Anything else? I'm certain it's not an STD.

Thanks for your query,based on the photograph and facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed infection of the glans penis and coronal sulcus due to dry rough vigorous sex .
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.
Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily
Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.
Hope this will get cured within a week.

Thank you Doctor. If I don't have access to oral antibiotics in the next week can I treat this with over the counter medications? If so which do you suggest? Specific soaps etc?
