Brief Answer: Primary complexes are seen in TB only. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following: 1. You seem to have been diagnosed with old healed primary complexes in ?Mid Zone of Right lung. 2. If it is pulmonary calcification, then any old healed infection can lead to it. Remember calcification in most cases is a sign of any old healed infection. Considering your medical history of Asthma, recurrent respiratory infections in Asthma can also lead to such calcifications. Bronchiectasis needs to be ruled out in your case. 3. From your history, if you do have bronchospasms not controlled on medications, then you need to get yourself evaluated by a Pulmonologist in detail. Investigations that may be required are :chest xray (probably has been done), Serum IgE Levels, absolute eosinophil count and pulmonary function tests. Based on your evaluation reports, your medical management can be titrated. I hope I have answered your query. I will be glad to answer follow up queries if any. Please accept my answer if you have no follow up queries. Regards Dr. Gyanshankar Mishra MBBS MD DNB Consultant Pulmonologist
