What Causes Pink Discolouration In Urine And Constipation While On Qsymia?
Question: I have started the second month of taking Qsymia. I had no symptoms until now except minor constipation. Today I had pink urine but I have had this before from exercising which I do regularly. I leave early in the morning for a one week trip. Can I wait to see my doctor who prescribed the appetite suppressant pill?

I think this does need to be evaluated by your primary care physician but it does not sound like it is something urgent. I think it can be done after you return from your trip.
However, if you developed increasing amounts or frequency of changes in that color of the urine or if it seems like you might be actually passing blood then it should be if I would get more immediately.
As for the constipation this can generally be managed with over-the-counter stool softeners.
You absolutely should have a full analysis of your urine as well as a focus consultation and physical examination to adequately assesswhy you might be passing small amounts of blood. It could be from irritation of the bladder or kidney but certainly needs to be investigated thoroughly.
