What Causes Persistent Vaginal Bleeding After D&C Despite Taking Femilon?
Question: Hi,
Recently I had D&C on oct 3 2015.on that day onwards started bleeding upto till now.doc given all kind of tabs like texakind-mf,k-stat injection also.but my bleeding not stopped.someone suggested me take femilon tabs to stop the bleeding and periods also regular.but in the femilon tab guide don't take unexplained vaginal bleeding.what should I do? Use or don't use?will u take money from reply answer or It's free?I wanna answer plz.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Continous bleeding after D& C is an indication of retained products of conception or post abortal dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB).
I will suggest you to get an ultrasound done to rule out any retained products conception. If present, you need to take medicines or go for surgical D & C again to remove the products of conception.
If the ultrasound is normal, then it can be post abortal DUB and you can start taking femilon at least 6 weeks after the date of D & C.
