Question: Having pain from sciatica nerve. Got shot of tramadol.. and an rx of flexeril. Still having pain on left side, right side better. Would a z pack help, for the inflammation?

That is an erythromycin type antibiotic. You mean MEDROL DOSE PACK which is a very strong anti-inflammatory steroid.

YES would be the short answer. Anti-inflammatories work well on sore muscles and muscle relaxants, while they are helpful are not generally able to treat pain. Steroids are generally used treatment for acute flared and inflamed backs.
